We have developed our Site so that you can visit it without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. We use a privacy-respecting analytics service (Vercel Analytics) that does not set cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not track individual visitors across sessions. We do not use any other tracking technologies on the public site.

We collect personally identifying data about you, such as your name, address and email address, only when you provide it to us voluntarily when you request additional information or publications, or when you sign up for our email list. We do not share your personal data with any third parties other than service providers who use the information only to help us respond to your requests. Heartland Forward does not sell information about visitors to its website. Heartland Forward may disclose any information if required to do so by law or in the belief that such action is reasonably necessary (a) to conform to the requirements of the law; (b) to protect and defend the legal rights or property of Heartland Forward, the website or its users or (c) in an emergency, to protect the safety of its users and/or the public. Heartland Forward does not knowingly collect information from minors. If a minor will be using this website, it is the legal guardian's responsibility to instruct such minor not to submit any personal information by way of email or otherwise.

Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, Heartland Forward will take reasonable measures to protect any information acquired by Heartland Forward from users by storing it in a secure operating area that is not available to the public. Data sent to and from this Site is transmitted over HTTPS, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Accordingly, visitors should exercise caution when deciding to disclose critical information to Heartland Forward via email or otherwise through the website.

Email list

We use the email addresses you provide through the “Join the Momtourage” signup form to send updates about Healthy Moms Healthy Babies America — including ways to take action, news from the campaign, and state-by-state progress on maternal health outcomes. We retain email addresses until you ask to be removed; every campaign email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email info@heartlandforward.org at any time to be removed. We use a third-party email-delivery service to send campaign emails; we do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any other parties for their marketing purposes.
